The DEDON Laboratory

The DEDON Laboratory

‘Laboratory’ was the theme of the fantastic DEDON booth at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan. Celine Parmentier who developed the styling concept has worked for many years as an architect for Philippe Starck, and has designed for DEDON exhibits in the past. The intriguing theme fits in perfectly with the current celebrated in Milan for ‘500 years of Leonardo Da Vinci’.

The architecture of the 2019 stand is an elaboration of the ‘farmhouse’ concept that DEDON developed together with the Danish/Italian design duo GamFratesi.

At the Milan fair, DEDON were both in the farmhouse and immersed by the surrounding countryside. The laboratory is a beautiful place to study nature, be inspired and create. Plants and animals were rendered in artful illustrations, from the microscopic to the enormous, providing an infinite source of imagination. The new DEDON outdoor furniture creations featured throughout are transforming the way we live and entertain outdoors.

The extravagant styling included a large tree suspended above the central dining table. Sweet sounds of birds chirping created a tranquil atmosphere as guests wandered throughout the display. The DEDON specialists wore white laboratory coats whilst sharing the latest furniture creations, inspired by their fascination with the natural world.

In April this year, Cosh Living announced a new partnership with DEDON and we are now the exclusive distributor here in Australia. The official launch will be at Denfair in June where we invite you to experience the world of DEDON at Cosh Living stand 510.

Our showrooms in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will be set up with DEDON display over June and July, so you will be able to touch and experience what makes them a global leader in barefoot luxury and garden furniture design.
