Born in Trento, Italy with well over 20 years of experience in the design field, Monica Armani’s work combines formal aesthetics, innovation, and engineering to create a distinctive style defined by a consistent link between industrial design, architecture, and home décor.
Tosca Sofa, Armchairs and Dining table by Tribu
Armani's use of thick vertical braiding woven into a rounded bucket seat became an instant signature look for the Tosca outdoor furniture collection. With tapered leg, muted tone-on-tone colours and thick weave, Armani describes the Tosca collection as unambiguous, but with soul. In Armani's case, this was mostly found in the proportions and unique braiding, both of which are soft and feminine.
Armani has succeeded in what she set out to do which was to combine emotion, comfort and personality in one stunning collection. The material used for the braiding is genuinely innovative; foam mousse is encased in a seamless sheath of knitted textilene and polyolefine, making the material weather-resistant and surprisingly soft to the touch.

The Tosca collection consists of a series of outdoor seating that includes dining and lounge chairs, barstools, loungers, and a daybed that is perfect for hanging out with the family on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
The series of coffee, dining and side tables are made from powder-coated stainless steel and tabletops crafted from ceramic which has a beautiful cloudy pattern. Ceramic is not only stunning in its appearance, but also an ideal outdoor material as it is completely UV-resistant, frostproof, scratchproof and stain-repellent.
