For the past decade, Kett has been designing and making furniture in Melbourne, shaped by a distinctly Australian way of living. Guided by a connection to landscape and everyday comfort, each collection reflects the places that inspire it.
As Kett celebrates 10 years of Australian design, we look back at the pieces that have defined the brand’s evolution. From early collections to enduring favourites, these designs tell the story of a studio grounded in craftsmanship, material integrity and furniture made to be lived with for years to come.
Otway 2016
Launched during Kett's formative years, the Otway collection established the brand's distinctive voice. Inspired by the ancient rainforests and towering eucalypts of Cape Otway, it captures the raw beauty and quiet majesty of Victoria's southern coastline.
Elegant timber dining tables, complementary seating and refined storage pieces blend sculptural presence with everyday comfort. Expertly crafted in Australia, Otway laid out Kett's inside-out philosophy, timeless furniture that quietly celebrates Victoria's dramatic landscapes.

Johanna 2017
Johanna expanded the design aesthetic with a softer sensibility. Named after the beach along the Great Ocean Road, the collection draws on the gentle dunes, flowing coastal grasses and unhurried rhythm of that particular stretch of Victorian coastline. Spanning seating and dining, Johanna has become one of Kett's most loved collections, strengthening the brand's deep connection to place.

Frame Living System 2018
Introduced in 2018, the Frame Living System brought something entirely new to the Kett range. Designed as a modular, wall-mounted storage solution, Frame was born from a desire to offer a clean alternative to built-in joinery without the cost, permanence or disruption of a traditional fit-out.
Built around a proprietary extrusion skeleton, the system offers exceptional flexibility while maintaining an honest, contemporary aesthetic. It scales to suit smaller rooms or full walls, and can be disassembled and reinstalled elsewhere.

Glenaire 2019
Launched alongside the opening of the Melbourne showroom, the Glenaire Swivel Chair arrived as a study in poise. Named for the timber piers and tranquil inlets of the Great Ocean Road, it embodies a particular kind of harmony, the kind that comes from meticulous construction and materials chosen with care.

Erskine 2020
Launched between 2020-2021, the Erskine Sofa and Bed collection emerged from an appreciation for the grace found in Victoria's fern-filled gullies. French influences echo quietly through the proportions and detailing, bringing a sense of quiet luxury to any living space.

Forrest 2021
The Forrest outdoor lounge collection captures the sweeping curves of the Australian coastline, framed by open grassy plains. Solid teak, powder-coated aluminium, handwoven Twitchell rope and all-weather cushions come together to create generous seating forms made for long afternoons outdoors.

Feathertop 2022
Named for Mount Feathertop in the Victorian Alps, the Feathertop carries the elevation and clarity of its namesake into every detail. Designed as a modular sofa system, it offers the flexibility to create configurations for every home, upholstered in a range of premium Australian fabrics and leathers.

Portland 2023
Portland draws its name from the coastal town on Victoria's far southwest. Classic in its base, dynamic in its composition, it reflects Kett's ongoing commitment to evolving the range while staying true to the design principles that have shaped the brand from the beginning. Solid timber dining tables, dining chairs and coffee tables feature gentle curves and generous proportions, echoing the protective embrace of Portland's natural harbour.

Wye 2024
Originally launched in 2017 and refined in 2024-2025, the Wye Collection has evolved into one of Kett's signature collections. Inspired by the flowing lines of the Wye River, it is designed for indoor and transitional living, with a powder-coated stainless steel rod frame at its core that reflects Kett's commitment to both craftsmanship and considered design.
