Elio, designed by Canadian design firm Yabu Pushelberg, is characterised by a softly rounded silhouette that draws inwards to create a cocoon effect. The armchair, lounge chair, high-back lounge chair and two-seater are framed by natural teak, which supports the seating shell. The seats are handwoven in Tricord rope.
Designed by Yabu Pushelberg for Tribu.
Tribu, Creating the Art of Leisure Since 1966
Luxurious, exclusive outdoor furniture is the field of distinction for Belgian design house Tribù. In the early nineties, Tribù was a pioneer of the philosophy that the outdoor area and garden should be viewed as an extension of the home.
Warm & Inviting
There are three sophisticated colours of the woven Tricord rope including Linen, Moss and Wenge. Warm and inviting, the weaving fuses heritage textile techniques with contemporary solution dyeing to create a sturdy material that mimics the gentle touch of light. The rich gradient effect in the seat shell is achieved by weaving multiple colours of yarn into one strand, making each piece of outdoor furniture one-of-a-kind.
The Elio collection is characterised by a softly rounded silhouette that draws inwards to create a cocoon effect. The frame is made using natural teak which supports the seating shell primarily through the back legs. The handwoven seat and backrest draw upward and inward to create a warm, intimate shelter.
