Frame Living was Kett Furniture's first exploration into wall-hung storage systems. Born from a desire to create a contemporary, highly functional alternative to built-in joinery, the system was designed to offer a clean and resolved look, without the stress, cost or permanence of a traditional fit-out.
Design Director Justin Hutchinson set out to create something more adaptable. With attention to the way people live, rent and move through homes today, Frame was designed to be easily installed across a variety of wall types. It can also be disassembled and reinstalled elsewhere, offering the flexibility of freestanding furniture with the clarity of integrated joinery.
Frame for the Bedroom
In 2022, Kett expanded the Frame collection with the introduction of Frame Bedroom. This new chapter carried through the same minimalist design language and concealed functionality, now applied to the bedroom space. Wall-hung headboards and integrated bedside tables created a clean, elevated look, freeing up floor space while offering practical storage and cable management.
The thoughtful detailing supports daily routines while maintaining a calm and refined presence in the room.
Frame Bedroom pairs seamlessly with the Erskine bed, a fully upholstered design with a soft, rounded frame. The bed’s generous proportions and sculpted form complement the linear structure of the Frame system, bringing balance and warmth to the bedroom setting.
Seamless Storage and Technology
Frame Office features powder-coated metal shelving, built-in pin boards upholstered in linen, below-desk storage designed for printers and stationery, durable porcelain surfaces, and an optional solid oak desk.
Thoughtful power and cable management throughout the system keeps cords hidden and spaces clutter-free, making Frame Office an elegant and practical choice for any modern workspace.
How Frame Works: Modular by Design
Frame is built around a system of modular panels that can be combined and configured to suit your space and needs. The more panels you add, the more compartments and functions you can create, from open shelving, storage & integrated spaces for TVs and technology.

This flexible design means Frame adapts easily to a variety of rooms and lifestyles. Whether you need a compact unit for displaying books or a full wall system that houses media equipment and everyday essentials, Frame can be customised to provide a seamless, cohesive solution.
Designed to Work Together
The Frame collection has been carefully developed to sit effortlessly alongside the broader Kett range. A considered selection of timber tones, powder coat colours and ceramic surfaces has been curated to complement the materials used across Kett’s dining tables, sofas, beds and storage pieces. This allows you to create a cohesive, layered interior that feels consistent without being overly matched.

While the core finishes have been selected to align naturally with Kett’s wider collections, the Frame system remains highly customisable. A variety of timber stains, powder coat colours and ceramic options are available, offering flexibility to tailor each piece to your interior palette and personal style.

This makes Frame a versatile choice for any room, whether you're integrating it into an existing Kett setting or designing a new space from the ground up.
Locally Made with Purpose
The Frame collection is proudly designed and made in Melbourne, reflecting Kett’s ongoing support for Australian manufacturing and craftsmanship. Each component is crafted with care using materials chosen not only for their aesthetic quality, but also for their impact on the environment.
