The quality of DEDON designs, materials, craftsmanship, whatever they do, it has to be the best, starting with the woven fiber. Many of the collections feature teak and high-end woven furniture using a sophisticated synthetic fiber that is weather-resistant, unique and visually pleasing.

QUALITY MADE IN GERMANY

Researched, developed, tested and manufactured at state-of-the-art production facilities in northern Germany, environmentally-friendly DEDON fiber is unrivalled for strength, outdoor durability, weather-fastness and luxuriousness, texture, colour variety and touch. The special synthetic fiber is recyclable and non-toxic, burning as cleanly as candle wax.

There are seven fully-automated extrusion machines which churn out approximately 55,000km of DEDON synthetic wicker per year, with a consistency that borders on perfection. Experts work with sophisticated equipment simulating decades of exposure to sunlight, salt water, chlorine and more, to ensure that every inch of fiber meets DEDON’s rigorous quality standards.

Unique within the outdoor furniture industry, DEDON owns and operates their furniture and fiber production facilities, allowing them to bring specialists and world-class furniture designers together to develop innovative new fiber colours, profiles and textures.

MADE WITH PASSION

Each piece of woven outdoor furniture is handcrafted by skilful weavers making each and every item unique.

DEDON works exclusively with the brilliant craftspeople of Cebu Island, Philippines, whose world-renowned weaving skills help set DEDON apart. At the production facilities in the Philippines, every chair, table, daybed, sun lounges and lantern is subject to sixteen quality assurance tests, including four at the very end of production, each lasting approximately 20 minutes.

Not all DEDON products are made using woven fiber, but their passion for superior quality extends to every material they use, from the stunning collection of outdoor fabrics to Ferrari Batyline®, Italian aluminium and premium teak, high-end safety glass to porcelain, all materials used are sourced from leading high-end suppliers.
