In her Geelong home, interior designer Amelda Wilde has reimagined Cosh Living’s Kett and Potocco collections within her renovated 1930s Californian-style home, creating spaces that balance warmth, texture, and form. This collaboration highlights the versatility of our indoor furniture, showing how each piece can adapt to a designer’s unique vision while maintaining its integrity and craftsmanship, seamlessly bridging the original heritage elements with the contemporary renovations.

Layers of Colour & Texture

Amelda’s approach combines bold upholstery choices with contrasting materials to shift the context of familiar designs. By layering her own aesthetic, rich in colour, texture, and architectural awareness, she brings a fresh perspective to our collections. The result is an interior that speaks to atmosphere and depth while maintaining the understated elegance at the core of Cosh Living’s ethos.

Amelda selected pieces for their exceptional material quality and durability, from the solid American oak of the Portland Arc Dining Table to the expertly crafted joinery of Potocco Sen cabinet. Each item was chosen not only for its functionality but also for its ability to enhance the home’s layered palette.

Portland Arc Dining Table
The Portland collection celebrates solid timber and gentle curves.The Portland Arc Dining Table draws inspiration from the scenic bays found in the region. Its graceful, curved legs reflect the protection these bays offer to tall ships amidst rough waters, while the tabletop shape pays homage to the many vessels that found secure anchorage in Portland’s harbor.

Portland Side Chairs
As the sunlight fades below the horizon, a gentle arc emerges as the land meets the sea. The Portland collection celebrates solid timber and gentle curves, featuring dining tables, dining chairs, and a series of refined coffee tables.

Otway Night Tables
The Otway collection is defined by its soft timber profile. This bedside table is the perfect size to store your treasures at arms reach, with a modern, minimal look. Legs, outer frame & top constructed from solid oak. Drawers veneered to match. Porcelain top optional.

Anchoring the Space with Sculptural Warmth

The Portland Arc Dining Table takes centre stage in the dining space, expertly crafted from solid American oak and finished in a light walnut stain. Its curved legs and rounded edges highlight the skill of Kett's local timber maker, while the tabletop reveals the timber’s natural grain, celebrating both careful craftsmanship and the enduring quality of the material.

Inviting Comfort & Colour

Paired with the Arc Dining Table, the Portland Side Chairs are upholstered in Pimento and Bronze velvets from Mokums Catherine Martin's bespoke range. The arrangement introduces warmth and colour while maintaining the collection’s refined, understated aesthetic. Beneath the chairs, a hand-knotted Moghul rug from Hali adds subtle texture and grounds the setting without competing with its sculptural presence. The Sen Cabinet by Potocco brings a vibrant focal point to the room with its striking Cherry Red finish. Balanced by clean lines and precise joinery, it offers storage while infusing the space with a playful yet sophisticated energy.

Double L Glaze Coffee Tables
Designed by Chiara Andreatti, The Double L Glaze coffee tables introduce a vibrant all-glass edition, available in three sizes and in Honey, Cherry, and Blueberry hues. With a feminine, minimalist aesthetic, the collection is defined by its lightness, refined craftsmanship, and intricate details.

Sen Cabinet
Designeed by Chiara Andreatti, the Sen storage collection includes a sideboard and cabinet, inspired by the design of the traditional Japanese doors in rice paper. The design of the ash frame is toned down thanks to the visual lightness created by the crossed grilles attached to sliding doors in bronzed glass or extra-clear glass, that conceals shelves at various heights.

Johanna Occasional Chair
The Johanna lounge is defined by a curvaceous and elegant form, executed with exceptional detail. At home in a formal or relaxed environment for brief sitting or comfortable lounging. Johanna expands space, is visually light and deceptively compact, a standout with a distinct silhouette and elegant materials.

Contrasts that Inspire Pause

The Johanna Occasional Chair adds a contrasting sculptural softness. Its flowing lines, generous curves, and tassel-detailed upholstery provide texture and personality, offering a tactile counterpoint to the glass Potocco glass table. Nearby, the Glaze Side Table continues this dialogue of materials, creating subtle visual and tactile interest. This project demonstrates how Cosh Living collections transcend a single style or setting. Through Amelda’s interpretation, their adaptability becomes clear, equally at home in a light-filled coastal residence, a moody urban apartment, or a contemporary family home.
