Hillside Home is a near off-grid, architect-designed retreat nestled in the bushland of Beaconsfield, Victoria. Designed by Whisker Architecture for a young professional family, this home effortlessly combines sustainability with modern comfort. Drawing inspiration from passive solar principles, energy-efficient systems, and bushfire resilience, Hillside Home minimises its environmental impact while offering practical, contemporary living.

Curated Interiors with Australian Craftsmanship

Whisker Architecture aimed to create a home that harmonised with its surroundings and reflected the values of sustainability, comfort, and elegance. The Glenaire Swivel and Otway modular sofa provide inviting seating in the open-plan living area, offering comfort while framing stunning views of the bushland.
