A heritage cottage in Northcote, renovated in two considered phases by Cantilever & Co for artist Rebecca. The result is a home that earns its warmth, each room building a palette that is confident, collected, and quietly personal. Cosh Living supplied furniture across the formal sitting room, living, dining, and kitchen.
Held in Amber
Painted in deep amber brown from floor to ceiling, the formal sitting room is the most enveloping space in the house. The Glenaire Swivel Chair settles naturally into its warmth, while a pair of Portland Coffee Tables grounds the layout with quiet intention. Overhead, the Mito Floor Lamp by Rakumba adds a sculptural note, its dual disc form casting a gentle glow against the gallery-like walls.

The open-plan living and dining area unfolds toward the garden in layers. The Otway Armchairs by Kett anchor the dining table with understated solidity, while in the lounge the Portland Arc coffee table and Johanna Ottoman bring the room low and close, an invitation to stay.
