The Finish interior designer and designer Karri Monni was born in Varkaus in 1969. He graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design in 1998. In 1999 he founded the studio Interior Architects Monni & Koskivaara.
Featured in the Vista Townhouse
The Muinn Stool was featured in the Vista Townhouse project. One of two townhouses sitting on a wedge-shaped block, the homes connect only at a garage in the centre. With a minimal, modern approach - the geometry is clean and simple. Bricks and white timber wall panels introduce texture, but the white palette allows for a timeless and fresh approach. Tactile warmth is added to the interior finishings, with linen curtains, rich floorboards and stone.
